Dr. O’Donnell graduated from the University of Alabama in 1974 with an undergraduate degree in psychology. He graduated from UAB Dental School in 1978 and completed a general practice dental residency with Huntsville Hospital in 1979. He has enjoyed over 38 years of treating patients – many have become friends and remained under his care for several generations. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. O’Donnell and his wife Martha have two children. They enjoy traveling to see their children and grandchildren, hiking and reading.
Sandy received her dental hygiene license in 1986 and has been working for Dr. O'Donnell for over 30 years. Her years of experience as a dental hygienist have provided her with the knowledge to understand our patient's treatment options. She understands insurance benefits and is more than happy to explain financial options to achieve our patients' dental goals. In addition, she is responsible for answering the phone and scheduling patients.
I have a wonderful husband named Barry, two daughters and two grandchildren. I really enjoy spending time with my family, Alabama football and going to the beach. I am very involved in my church and love helping others.
Marla began working for Dr. O’Donnell in 1988 as a dental assistant. She received her dental hygiene license in 1991. She primarily assists Dr. O’Donnell in treatment procedures such as fillings, crowns and bridges and also provides periodic dental cleanings on our patients. Marla regularly calls our patients the next day after treatment to ask how they are doing and see if they are having any problems. Marla is married to Mike and has one daughter. She loves spending time with her family.

Jill began working for Dr. O'Donnell in 2017, being the newest assistant to the practice. She assists Dr. O'Donnell with treatment such as crowns, bridges, fillings, etc. Jill received her dental training in a pediatric dental office after she graduated high school in 1990. It is very important to Jill that our patients are comfortable while in the dental chair. She is glad to help them understand more about their treatment, calm their anxiety of being at the dentist, as well as leaving with a smile on their face, knowing they were taken care of while at our office.
My husband, Kerry, and I have one son, Logan. We also have a Chi-weinnie dog named Carley. I love spending precious time with my family, going to the beach, shopping, and being around people, whether it be a listening ear or talking, but most of all making people smile.
Miranda is a registered dental hygienist serving the Huntsville area for 16 years. She enjoys building healthy relationships with patients and strives to help each patient achieve optimal dental health. She is ecstatic about working with Dr. O'Donnell and being a part of an amazing team of caring individuals. Miranda is married to Chris and has two sons. She has a passion for rescuing animals. Her main hobby is her horses. She has been barrel racing since she was three years old.
It is my daily goal as a dental hygienist, to help you achieve the oral health and care that you deserve. I believe in educating you about your oral health and utilizing all of our resources so that you are comfortable and satisfied with the treatment I offer you. I enjoy all aspects of the dental field. It is my joy to work with patients with special needs.
Morgan graduated from Wallace State Community College in 2013 with an associate's degree in dental hygiene. She began working for Dr. O'Donnell in June, 2014, She is married and has a rescue dog who she adores. She likes to spend time with her family and being outdoors.
I have always loved dentistry and knew I wanted to work int he dental field at a young age. I am passionate about dental hygiene and patients overall health, and enjoy building relationships with my patients.
